Large-scale event production and design

For this yearly kickoff event, I oversaw creative direction for a 500+ person experience, bringing cohesion across brand, motion, large-scale graphics, and production design. I partnered with an event production agency and led a graphic designer to ensure the experience felt intentional at every scale.

The event’s visual identity was designed to stand apart from Yext’s core brand while still feeling unmistakably connected. In close partnership with leadership, we developed thematic directions aligned to the event’s vision and selected a defining theme for the year. From there, I guided the design lead in building a flexible, scalable system that carried across wayfinding, screens, merchandise, and the broader event experience.

The motion design system built on the existing foundation, bringing the static rocket-diagram line art to life. It could play subtly in intermission loops or ramp up with dynamic typography for hype videos, creating a cohesive visual language across both still and motion.

I directed the design lead in creating assets and stills, collaborated with OzTech Media on animation, and oversaw testing and installation of screens and graphics before the event, making quick adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and consistency with the overall visual system.
